WhyStrohm Content Audit

Score your content against a 5-layer framework. Get diagnostics, exact problem quotes, and live rewrites.

What It Does

WhyStrohm Content Audit scores your website content against a battle-tested 5-layer content infrastructure framework. You submit your website URL, describe your buyer and differentiator, and paste one piece of content. Within 2 minutes, you get a score out of 50 and see exactly what’s broken.

How It Works

The audit runs six phases:

  1. Scrape — analyzes your website for voice, positioning, and patterns
  2. Profile — asks 3 questions about your buyer, differentiator, and content strategy
  3. Score — rates each of 5 layers on a 1-10 scale
  4. Diagnose — shows exact quotes from your content with specific problems
  5. Rewrite — transforms your weakest piece live with before/after comparison
  6. Reveal — explains the complete framework so you understand the system

The 5 Layers

Vocabulary checks for hype words, hollow verbs, vendor-centric language, and proof density. Structure evaluates buyer context, problem specificity, stakes, evidence, and clear calls-to-action. Proof Density measures your claims-to-evidence ratio—every assertion needs adjacent proof. Voice Consistency compares your content against your actual brand voice. Buyer Alignment determines if copy is written FOR your buyer or about yourself.

Who Benefits

Content strategists, product marketers, and founder-led companies cleaning up voice drift across websites, emails, and social content. Works with LinkedIn posts, email sequences, blog paragraphs, and landing page copy.

Frequently asked questions

How do I install WhyStrohm Audit?
Run one command: `git clone https://github.com/whystrohm/whystrohm-audit.git ~/.claude/skills/whystrohm-audit`. Or manually download the repo and copy the `whystrohm-audit/` folder to `~/.claude/skills/`. No API keys or external tools required—just Claude Code.
What does WhyStrohm Audit score?
Your content gets rated across 5 layers: Vocabulary (hype, hollow language, proof density), Structure (buyer context, problem clarity, stakes), Proof Density (claims vs. evidence), Voice Consistency (brand alignment), and Buyer Alignment (customer-focused vs. self-focused). Total score: 0–50.
How long does an audit take?
About 2 minutes. You provide your website URL, answer 3 profile questions about your buyer and differentiator, and submit one piece of content. The skill scrapes, analyzes, scores, diagnoses, and rewrites in a single session.
What content can I audit?
Any published content: LinkedIn posts, emails, blog paragraphs, landing pages, product descriptions, or case studies. Paste anything 50–500 words and it will be scored and rewritten.
Do I need an API key?
No. WhyStrohm Audit runs entirely within Claude Code. No external services, no configuration, no API keys required.
What's the difference between this skill and the full WhyStrohm system?
This skill audits one piece of content in 2 minutes. The full WhyStrohm system scores your entire content library, encodes brand voice as 40–60 enforceable rules, maps voice drift across platforms, and includes video production and publishing automation. The skill is free; the full system starts at $3,000/month.
Can I use this for my team's content?
Yes. Run it on any content URL or text snippet. The score card and diagnostics work for websites, social posts, emails, and docs. Share the rewrite examples with your team to establish content standards.
What if my score is low?
The audit shows exact quotes and specific problems for each layer. You'll see your top 3 content gaps ranked by business impact, plus a live rewrite of your weakest piece showing the before/after improvement. Use the 5-layer framework to iteratively strengthen your content.

Glossary

Proof Density
The ratio of claims to evidence in your content. High proof density means every assertion is backed by a statistic, quote, example, or concrete detail. Low proof density relies on assertions without support.
Voice Consistency
How well your content matches your actual brand voice across all channels. Drift occurs when different pieces of content sound generic, corporate, or inconsistent with your founder's perspective.
Buyer Alignment
Whether your content is written FOR your buyer (addressing their problems, context, and outcomes) or ABOUT yourself (focusing on your features, company, or differentiator without buyer context).
Content Infrastructure
A system of rules, templates, and guardrails that ensure all your content (website, email, social, video) is consistent, proof-dense, and buyer-focused without requiring founder review on every piece.
Hype Words
Vague, overused adjectives like 'innovative,' 'disruptive,' 'next-gen,' or 'cutting-edge' that appear in competitor content and dilute your unique positioning. The audit flags them as proof-weak.
